Happy National It’s Time for the Summer Bored Games Day!

Who’s excited? I know I’m excited! πŸ˜€ Many of you have participated in the Summer Bored Games before, but if you haven’t or just want a refresher on how everything works, read on!

The Summer Bored Games will chase away boredom and help you have the best summer ever! Not to mention you can win prizes, and who doesn’t love winning prizes?! πŸ˜€

Enni @ The Blanket Burrito

Laura @ Laura Marie

Enni and I are going to take turns posting new challenges every week for the month of August. Every week, we’ll post 35 new challenges. There will be points assigned to each challengeβ€”the harder the challenge, the more points you can earn!

There’s not a certain number of points you have to collect in a week, as many as you can do is great! However, you must finish a week’s challenges in that week only. If you do them after the week is over, they will not count towards your points. If you want to do a past week’s challenges just for fun, go for it! πŸ˜€

In every new challenge post, we will link to a survey/checklist that you can submit when the week is over. These submissions will go to a host blogger to make sure you have a chance to win one of the prizes! If you want to just do the challenges without trying for any prizes, you’re more than welcome to do so. πŸ™‚

This part is quite fun! Participants are encouraged to submit pictures of the challenges they complete, which can add up to 15 bonus points every week! You’re allowed to submit 5 pictures per week, and each picture is worth 3 points, giving you a possible total of 60 bonus points!

It’s up to the hosts to decide whether your picture counts, and even though only you can only get points for your first 5 pictures, feel free to send however many you’d like! If you give us your permission, we’ll use some of your photos in our challenge posts so participants can see what everyone has been up to. πŸ™‚

I’m quite excited about the prizes this year! πŸ™‚ They’re in a three-tier system, and you’ll be entered into each tier depending on how many points you have. At the end of the games, we’ll tally up everyone’s points, sort them into the different prize tiers, and use a random generator to pick the winners!

If you finish with 0-50 points, you will not be entered into prize tier.

If you finish with 51-200 points, you’ll be entered to win the tier 3 prize: Two stickers from Kara DeAnn Designs and a make-your-own-keychain kit from Sageland Inspirations!

If you finish with 201-350 points, you’ll be entered to win the tier 2 prize: A sticker pack from Ollie Otter Stickers and a custom portrait from A. K. Illustration!

If you finish with 351+ points, you will be entered to win the tier 1 prize: A custom portrait from Sarah Lowe Design, a houseplant snail mail kit from Peach and Poppy Co., and an enamel pin from Audrey’s Artistry Shop!

We’ll be reviewing the available prizes throughout our challenge posts, so stay tuned for more details about what you could win!

I think that’s it! Are you excited yet? πŸ˜€ I can’t wait to see everyone’s pictures, and I hope y’all are having a wondermous day! πŸ™‚ I know this is a little later than the Summer Bored Games usually begins, but hey, better late than never! A big thank you to Enni for answering my extremely frequent and confusing questions while we were figuring everything out. XD

Have you signed up yet? Are you ready to have the best summer ever?

    1. You can sign up during the entire challenge! If you sign up when one of the challenge weeks are already over, you will not be able to go back and earn those points. But feel free to ask a friend, that would be awesome!
